Housework

  • While cooking and meal preparation put hot soapy water in the kitchen sink, it will help to keep the kitchen clean.
  • Go to bed and the kitchen is tidy and all the clothes are ready fo morning.
  • Don't wait, wash dishes up straight after eating then relax or do something else.
  • Get up and get dressed being at home does not mean you lounge about in your pj's
  • Prepare a menu and  shopping list every week
  • Get the boys to pick up after themselves be consistant
  • Only do one load of washing a day and put away that day.
  • Clean fridges out once a week before doing menu I might have enough food allready.
  •  make a to do list the night before no longer than 10 things.

Just a few pictures to remind me that life is not just house work

Cleaning and scrubbing will wait ’till tomorrow, but children grow up, as I’ve learned to my sorrow. So quiet down cobwebs! Dust go to sleep! I’m rocking my baby. Babies don’t keep. – Ruth Hamilton

  1. Pretty pictures!
I wish I could follow even some of your list! I guess, I used to do a lot of that, but old age and pajamas have caught up to me! :-)

  2. I'm with Sharon...now that Don is gone I don't have a weekly schedule I follow. I do try to make grocery lists every now and then, when I don't I always forget to get something I need ;-) My baby is almost 46, I'm so happy I had the time to play with him when he was little...time goes by so fast and before you know it they're graduating high school. Enjoying your photos!

  4. You are well organised with your lists. love the quote. Stop and smell the roses and take a walk in the little wood, which is beautiful.
