The problem with a one day weekend our Mondays start on Sunday.
I bought a wood burner not the one I wanted but this is a 10th of the price
it has a small oven compartment ( suitable for pizza and baked potatoes) and there is a side opening where I can do a indoor bar-be-que and with the money saved I can buy wood for 10 years at least.
planted some crepe myrtle seeds
That is going to be cosy in winter!
ReplyDeleteA good choice Cathy...plus it appears there is room on top to do some cooking too! I like the part about saving enough on the purchase to buy wood for apx. 10 years.
ReplyDeleteThe software I use to manipulate photos is:
Paint.NET http://www.getpaint.net and it's FREE!
I also use Corel PaintShop Photo Pro X3 http://www.corel.com I'm still a novice when it comes to using both of these softwares.
Have a good Sunday...even though it is your Monday!
I love your title. Great sense of humour. Your wood burning stove is ever so cute. I know from my distant past when, as a child, I visited my aunts who lived on farms and cooked on similar stoves that the food all tasted so much better than modern cooking. I hope you have fun experimenting with it, Cathy.
ReplyDeleteThat looks perfectly good to me, it bakes potatoes too even better. You are in for a snug winter, very nice.
