Rescue Sanctuary

In the kibbutz zoo there is a rescue and rehab centre for birds of prey, eagles, owls.

The man who runs it also goes to schools educating children on the birds that they rescue  and what to do if they see a injured bird.

  12. I'm happy to hear that these birds are used for education. I feel that the more people can see nature up close and personal, the more they are likely to care about our environment.
