Hello summer

Sweetcorn has a new hairstyle


Ali I have an eggplant

what a lovely yellow flower who says vegetables are boring?

Melon just hanging around grow baby grow :)

Also there are some new veg starting to grow

Italian beans

Okra (also known as gumbo)

  4. Someone today told me her African neighbours dry the okra in the sun and grind it down. They use it as a seasoning. It sits on the table next to the salt and pepper...

  6. The veg you have growing at present is definitely "warm weather stuff". Presumably it gets pretty hot where you are? Are the beans you call Italian Beans climbers or dwarf ones?

  7. I love getting up in the morning to see whats happened in the garden overnight I am sure those Melons are getting bigger by the minute.Silly I know:)but all these are firsts for us and the boys enjoy showing people around the veg garden.
