Salad on the go go

today was a half day at the plant nursery and when I came home the first thing instead of going for a quick something from the fridge I went out and foraged in the garden I must say Halleujah I am a convert to home grown salad yum but
I ate the evidence of this little miracle :).
I have been reading a comic book here is an extract from it

 Everyone Is Right

Once when Nasreddin Hodja was serving as qadi(judge), one of his neighbors came to him with a complaint against a fellow neighbor.

The Hodja listened to the charges carefully, then concluded, "Yes, dear neighbor, you are quite right."

Then the other neighbor came to him. The Hodja listened to his defense carefully, then concluded, "Yes, dear neighbor, you are quite right."

The Hodja's wife, having listened in on the entire proceeding, said to him, "Husband, both men cannot be right."
The Hodja answered, "Yes, dear wife, you are quite right."

It is funny and thoughtful sometimes everyone is right but it still doesn't help anyone.

First day working at the plant Nursery and my back is ....

Well not killing me but nearly. The day started off when the owner of the nursery sent one of his workers to pick me up and take me to the Nursery. I got to the there and the place was a disaster zone I felt like a Nurse I had to prioritize my patients otherwise I would take forever I really hate throwing away plants but a lot of them would not survive afterwards I had a conveyor belt system prune water bath and top dressing and then add a bit of mulch .there isn't a compost pile that will have to change I am really excited about this job and I have already made a mental list of all the plants trees etc I would like. Tomorrow I will take my camera.

There was a crack and ....

then this branch fell on the the nursery play area thank God no one was out playing.

Later there were some more winds and more damage mostly trees and a few loose tiles. Aled came to the playschool he suddenly looks so big compared to the children there where does the time go?

On the way home from work we saw some more damage from the sand storm

At home it was not any better except I had a parcel with  a lot of seeds for my Birthday thank you, you know who you are xox

Don't knock the weather; nine-tenths of the people couldn't start a conversation if it didn't change once in a while. ~Kin Hubbard

we are having a sand storm

The Sun

The wind shows us how close to the edge we are.  ~Joan Didion

A lot of trees are damaged

Spooky wild and gusty; swirling dervishes of rattling leaves race by, fleeing the windflung deadwood that cracks and thumps behind.  ~Dave Beard

The vegetable garden is just about covered with sand it was like a sand blaster

But at least there is no scaffolding and the house is finished nearly

Hum for a Blustery Day

From:  Winnie The Pooh and the Blustery Day
Written by: Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman
Performed by: Sterling Holloway [Pooh]

Hum dum dum ditty dum
Hum dum dum
Oh the wind is lashing lustily
And the trees are thrashing thrustily
And the leaves are rustling gustily
So it's rather safe to say
That it seems that it may turn out to be
It feels that it will undoubtedly
It looks like a rather blustery day, today
It sounds that it may turn out to be
Feels that it will undoubtedly
Looks like a rather blustery day today
