We had been talking about adding an pergola, arbor or trellis for our grape vine to climb on as it grows. In the beinning we planned to make it an archway over the entrance to our garden but then I found out that wasps and bees love grapes so I thought I would put the vines by the veg garden.
here are some ideas that I have found on the web
This one is very pretty but maybe smaller with a simple design and no brickwork
I cant remember where I found this picture ( just saw the web page written on the side of the photo)it is something "The Builder" could do quite easily
basically I have still not made up my mind but one thing for sure the grapevine is growing well.

Maybe a little rustic Or Or Or Or Or Or |
So many choices it is hard to choose.
ReplyDeleteall are so pretty...I'd have hard time choosing too! will the grapevine have to be dug up or is it in a container? I like #2 also, the fact that it would be easy for the builder is a big plus!
ReplyDeleteOh, there are some lovely options, here! I'd love to have something like this in my own garden. We've just recently bought a Wisteria creeper, but have not planted it yet as we can't decide where! I hope you manage to choose the best option for your needs :)
ReplyDeleteWe have our vines in rows. A pergola would be very nice, except for the fact of the bees overhead as well as on the sides, they can be a nasty bunch...
